At the end of the summer OSSAU WATCH will be releasing its OSSAU ARTWATCH Limited Edition collection, reflecting a fusion of watchmaking and art, made entirely in South-West France.

The two founders of OSSAU WATCH had their hearts set on the idea of merging technological perfection with artistic imagination and creativity. Fuelled by their passion they put their idea to ten artists from the Basque coast, through the Gers region and onto Toulouse. Their challenge was to create unique works of art, small enough to fit on a watch dial, reflecting their artistic world. It proved to be a resounding success, giving rise to the OSSAU ARTWATCH Limited Edition collection, a unique set of watches with dials created by ten artists from across South-West France.

The ten OSSAU ARTWATCH watches will be available as unique pieces of jewellery
(artist’s signature engraved on the casing) and sold at a retail price of €6,900 inc. VAT.

OSSAU WATCH was created in 2011, a result of the ideas, determination and passion of its two founders, Bruno ROUILLE and Arnaud BESNIER. OSSAU WATCH applies the technological excellence of the aeronautical industry (well established in South-West France) to the creation of its watches, from design to aesthetics, through the manufacture of certain parts (by contractors in the sector and the region) to assembly in the OSSAU WATCH workshops.

The acclaim won from experts in the field at the Baselworld exhibition in Switzerland, the international exhibition for the most prestigious watchmakers, confirms that OSSAU WATCH is now a flagship name in top-of-the-range luxury watchmaking, with their watches entirely manufactured and assembled in South-West France, at the entrance to the Ossau Valley which gave the brand its name.
